What is the advantage of Mekko's high-accuracy humidity meter?▼
The humidity sensor probes used in our cabinets are extremely high-accuracy instruments, far superior to competitors. While most suppliers use probes with an accuracy of only +/-3%RH, our probes are calibrated against a factory working standard instrument calibrated by Rotronic in accordance with UKAS requirements. This results in an uncertainty of less than 1%RH at a displayed reading of 5%RH at 23°C.

How does the 'Active Desiccant' system work compared to baking or nitrogen?▼
Our cabinets incorporate our proprietary 'MTX-Flow' technology with a continually regenerating molecular sieve desiccant rotor. The unit automatically switches on when a door is opened and humidity rises, returning interior levels to under 5%RH in less than 2 minutes. It eliminates oxidation risks associated with baking and removes the ongoing consumable costs of nitrogen cabinets.
