The Euroflow design overcomes the most common challenge in lead-free soldering—varying temperature across the substrate. While the ovens are divided into pre-heat, soak, and reflow zones along the length, they also feature control zones across the conveyor (front edge, centre, and back edge). This lets operators completely eliminate temperature variation across the substrate.

What type of heating technology is used in Mekko reflow ovens?▼
We use a highly efficient combination of quick-response, long-wave ceramic heater panels within the processing chamber alongside forced convection air flow. This delivers all-round edge-to-edge heating that is more efficient and controllable than pure convection systems, keeping power consumption low while ensuring excellent thermal stability.

Can these ovens handle double-sided boards and complex BGA assemblies?▼
Yes. They provide safe processing for all SMD components, double-sided assemblies, BGA packages, fine-pitch ICs, and hidden chip components with zero shadowing or colour sensitivity.
Do I need complex profile changes for different production batches?▼
No. 'Single profile' processing is suitable for the majority of substrates. Full production runs or small batches can be run with no profile change or instability, and 'nose-to-tail' product loading is easily accommodated.
